Budget Gaming Rig Performance?

Hello,
I am thinking about purchasing a cheap gaming rig and was wondering if this would be a good option to play modern games at 1080p on medium-high settings at over 50 fps:
-AMD Athlon x4 750k @3.4 Ghz (I will most likely overclock)
-MSI GeForce GTX 660 or MSI GeForce GTX 750
-Corsair CX430 PSU
-Corsair Vengeance 8Gb (2x4 Gb) 1600 RAM

Try to upgrade your processor to a FX-6300 with a decent 970 chipset motherboard for overclocking.
Up the psu to a XFX 550w or 650w (The 650w is only $5 more at NCIX)
Instead of the 750 or 660, see if you can get a R9-270 / 270X (They go for about ~$180)

Hard to recommend things because we need to know your budget and what games you want to play.

OK what I want to be able to play is games like GTA 4, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Battlefield 4 at low at a playable fps of 30+ on an old 720p monitor I have. I would also like to be able to play minecraft and record with fraps with a constant 40+ fps on a server. I also would like to spend under $400 preferably under $300.
Sorta updated build as I would like to do some light editing also:
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 4.1 GHZ Six-Core CPU $120
MSI GT 640 $75
MSI 760GM-P34 Motherboard (For Easy Overclocking) $52
Adata XPG V1.0 1600 8GB RAM $64
Corsair CX430 430w PSU $40
DIYPC FM08-W Case $24 (On Sale)
I already own a Hard Drive
Comes to about $375, any suggestions for a cheaper pc that will fit my needs?
BTW my current (REALLY REALLY OLD) PC that has an AMD Athlon x2 2 GHZ and a Radeon HD 6450 plays minecraft at 30+ fps with fraps but around 20 fps on a server so this is mainly where I want a performance Increase, also I want to play GTA with my friends at above 30 fps (No Recording) at 720p on low-madium (I dont mind turning graphics down, but hate putting the resolution at 1366 by 866 to be able to play like I do on my current system) The reason for the expensive cpu is that minecraft and fraps are more cpu based and so is editing. Also I dont think I will be needed an extremely good gpu since I currently dont play much but minecraft.

You won't even be able to play Bf4 with the GT 640.
Your budget is fairly small (especially if you're not taking rebates into account) so you shouldn't expect much out of your computer. Which do you value more: better editing but worse graphics/less fps or slower editing but better graphics/more fps? It all comes down to that.
Also, do you plan on overclocking? You put "For Easy Overclocking" next to your motherboard but it's not going to be a great overclocker. If you want any decent overclocks, you definitely want at least a 970 chipset motherboard. Anything under that like the motherboard you posted will have troubles with the VRMs and delivering power to your processor as you increase the voltage.
