Hello all. I have a couple issues with my internet and I'm seeking guidance from a more brilliant mind than mine. I just purchased a new Motorola SBG6580. I connected my desktop wireless, and at first it experienced the same thing my laptop is, which is almost non existent speeds. I have a 50 mbps connection, and the wireless was running on my desktop at a .10-.20 mpbs speed (yes, decimal point in front). I didn't do anything to correct the pc, it pretty much corrected itself and now is up in the normal range. However, my laptop is still doing it and I don't know what to do. I have it set to WPA2-PSK, its an 802.11n router (which so was the one I was using and had no problems on), I have tried changing which channel the frequency is on, the bandwidth (2.4ghz to 5ghz), I have tried resetting the modem to factory defaults. I dont know what to do at this point. I know it's not the modem because my desktop picks up the speeds fine, and I know the laptop has the ability to get decent speeds because it was last night before I purchased this and was using a different router. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate the help! Thank you!

I sense a firmware upgrade issue - if that doesnt resolves your issue then i would suggest giving a call at tollfree 1-855-664-5678 and talk to the wireless networking experts
