Motherboard temps being REALLY high safe?

If tmpin1 is one of the chipsets, that is indicating it is way too hot. It may be as simple as a loose bolt that MB uses to hold the heatsync on. Or it could be that the thermal pad between heatsync and chipset is loose or dried out. The first thing I'd do is remove the heatsync from the chipset and replace the thermal pad. Then be sure the mounting arrangement attaches the heatsync securely. Also be sure the heat syncs are clean of dirt and oils.
