I have the MSI X79A-GD45-Plus LGA 2011 Intel X79 ATX Motherboard (PCI-E 3, Socket 2011)
and I want to get the Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
but I dont know whether they are compatible, any advice?
(my cpu is intel i7 4820k extreme quad core)

As long as it says PCIe on the board, you're fine.
