I have a Kingston USB drive states that it is read only and when i try to write to it, it says its write protected.
I have tryed all of these steps:
Samy Youssef said:
If the problem is persistent with the drive and you still can't copy files to it or format it after:-

1- You tried removing read-only permission from the drive properties
2- You tried formatting from Windows
3- You tried formatting from CMD using DISKPART
4- You tried editing the Registry solution (for WriteProtect word)
5- You tried the different free online tools like HDD LL Format tool and HP Format Tool

None of them has worked so I started the next steps as explained by "Samy Youssef"
For some reason i cannot get it to recognize my usb drive, can someone help explain to me
how to use the program "FlashBoot" I have downloaded all the files but i can't seem to get it to recognize my usb drive. i dont know if i have to go into the setup because what i have been doing is trying to see if it would auto detect it.
here is my usb drive settings from the Chip Genius software:

yeah i have tried to perform a disk check on it and it always says that it can't do this because the drive is write protected and I've not done anything to this drive to make this setting and it also doesn't have a switch for manually put it into write protect mode.

any ideas, i was going to try to re-flash it like some has been able to but i don't know how to work the software??

thanks
