XFX Radeon 7850 2GB Core Edition Dual Monitor Setup?

I currently have an XFX Radeon 7850 2GB Core Edition graphics card with 1 monitor hooked up via DVI and I am thinking about getting a 19 inch tv and put it on my xbox while I'm playing xbox and on my pc while I'm on pc.

The question is...
Is my graphics card performance (fps and quality) sacrificed while I have the hdtv plugged in via hdmi?

Sorry if I didn't make that clear lol
The current monitor I have now is plugged in via DVI and the TV I am planning to get will be plugged in with hdmi
:)
