Okay, so my friend comes over, and I was doing stuff to his PC like adding textures for garry's mod. WELL, so he decides to get on my Gaming PC and play Team Fortress 2. He was going to hit the squiggly button on my keyboard to access the console commands for TF2 but accidentally hits the Sleep/Hibernate button instead.. The computer shuts off.. Will not come back on... After a little bit, I finally got it to cut back on but then it says my BIOS got corrupted.. so it back-ups and finally loads. Then a big-ass frowny face comes on with some words (Cannot read them since it goes by SOO FAST) Next thing I know it goes into a boot-loop trying to diagnose my PC and I done Continue with windows 8.1 and Restart my PC (too afraid to mess with the advanced settings). This continuous boot-loop happens over and over.. and I'm freaking out because it was a $1,000 with MY OWN MONEY. and he just decides to get on and press a button.. I have gone to the BIOS menu and do like extra information about BIOS information and then exit and re-boot and press Alt+F12 but nothing happened... I need someone to help me quick. I am freaking out!

You can take it to PC repair shop or try whatever you find here or elsewhere through Google. Check what version Bios you should have from the mobo website.

When it boots, stop it and go into bios. Check the version. I dunno where a big frowny face would come from - check on Google. And you can re-install your bios through a boot to a USB stick with it on it - see elsewhere. You can get the bios from your mobo website.

You'd need to get your bios working again before you could even think about doing a restore. You better scan your drives real good for viruses.
