So my brother has asked me to help him out with a build for a new computer. He doesn't feel comfortable assembling a rig on his own and while I'd love to help him he lives thousands of miles away and I've yet to ever try and build a new system from scratch (I have however swapped out practically every component in my build except for the motherboard). That being said, I am considering referring him to a site like ibuypower.com however I've read some pretty scrary review posted by other users here on TH. Basically, I've narrowed down the specs of what he wants to:
GTX770
I7-4770k
Extreme 6 Mobo
600w Power Supply
2TB HDD
IBP has a rig similar to this, with corsair cpu liquid cooling around $1200. While I understand that contracting one of these sites constitutes paying a premium, there appears to be no way around it as he does not feel comfortable taking on the task himself. So, thoughts? Thanks ahead of time.

If you've been able to successfully replace almost your whole build, then you should know how to build a computer as you've done it little by little. I would still recommend you trying to convince him to build it himself. It's really simple and it's just a matter of putting pieces where they belong. Show him a video of a tutorial on how to build your own computer and he'll see how easy it is. Then when the time comes to build it, you can video chat with him or something and maybe guide him on what to do.
