I have been experiencing problems staying connected to Diablo III and World of Warcraft where I would be unable to participate in the game anywhere from 5 seconds to 2 minutes. Many times I would get disconnected and progress would be lost so I looked on the internet to find many people suggesting PathPing from the command prompt.
Upon using PathPing I find that from hops 0 to 1 I experience 90-100% packet loss which is very bad.

I did this twice on my desktop which is connected to a Motorola SB6150 modem/router via ethernet cable. I then tested this twice again using a laptop that connected wirelessly and I found the same results. I then swapped the Motorola SB6150 with an older motorola SB5101 modem and tested again with my desktop still hardwired and yet again found the same results.
The only thing I have not swapped is the coaxial cable going from my modem to my wall. My question is: could it be the cable or is there something I am missing? What could cause the constant disconnection or high latency on two computers that are achieving the same results with two different modems?
One last piece of information: my ISP is Cox Cable.
