cpu - AMD Phenom II X6 1045T
video card - AMD Radeon HD 6450
motherboard - foxxconn 2ab1 (info: http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/Foxconn/Foxconn_2AB1/452)

i was wondering what, if any, upgrade to my current video card i can make. the graphics card has to be PCIe 2.0 or 2.1 and also if you could include a power supply i would need to power the card (i plan on replacing psu)

i would like to use this for gaming, 720p is ok, but can i find something to play 1080p with 30fps+?

budget, country of purchase? pci-e 3 is backwards compatible so don't limit yourself to 2.0/2.1

buying from usa, no budget, current psu is probably 300W brand is unspecified.

PCIe 3.0 is backwards compatible but i wont be getting the full bandwidth so i dont want to pay for something if im not fully utilizing its potential.

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b1050... this desent psu more than enough to run this gpu http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-video-card-gtx660dc2o... which cannot be bottlenecked by pci3 2.0! also a 750ti has a 20A recommendation for the 12v rail and requires one 6pin pcie connector. your 300w psu probably cant provide all these but it must have written specs on it so better check it!

you won't be not 'fully utilizing it's potential' if you get a pci-e 3.0 card.

750ti, PSU should be ok, it's cheap, it's efficient.
