Hello there!
I wanted to ask if any of you can suggest me which water cooler to get for my fx-6300 which i'm going to OC to 4.2 Ghz on my Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0. My finalists are Antec KÜHLER H2O 650 and the Corsait Hydro H60. From what i saw i like the Antec one more because it is a all-in-one cooler and it has a LED indicator for the temperature. So i'd like to ask if the performance of those two coolers is the same or is the corsair better at cooling?
Thanks in advance!

Honestly, you don't need a liquid cooler for 4.2GHz. You could put a midrange air cooler on it and hit 4.4-4.5 GHz, be at or near stock voltages (1.40v-1.425v or so, +/- based on your system's overclockability), and still keep it well within safe temps. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus or EVO or the Xigmatek Gaia would be fine for 4.2GHz.

If you REALLY want a liquid cooler for your 6300, you will be fine with a single-fan setup. Zalman LQ 315 offers a lot of value. Corsair H80i is also very good. Those both use120mm fans. If you have a 140mm fan outlet, the NZXT X40 is also very good.

Another thing i'd like to ask is:
What is the diference if i install the radiator in the case and what will happen if i install it outside my box? I have the Zalman Z3 plus and i don't know if i'll fit everything in it? I may go for the Zalman LQ315 just to make a Zalman combo. =P

I've read that the 970 chipset shouldn't really be OC so i'm not sure if i should overclock it to more than 4.2Gz. If this isn't really true i'll try to OC it to 4.5/4.6 GHz :D

Not even a little? :( .. i mean i got very nice air flow in my caseso the board may get cooled a bit and about that 4+1 power phase.. that's like spanish to me :p ... i'm a begginer in stuff like this so i don't really know what this means and if you have some spare time and explain it to me i'd be trully thankfull because i want to learn about stuff like that.

Thanks for that information. If i am correct 4 + 1 stands for 4 CPU phases and one 1 RAM phase? .. and the thing i still don't get is why would overheating be such a large problem? Do 0.7 GHz really heat the transistors so much?

Mild huh? ... Is mild near 0.7 GHz or is it way far there in the distance because my brother really wants to put Water cooling in my system :p . Will the mobo automaticallystop me from OC too much or do i need to be really carefull?

All I will add is that I am using the Antec 650 with the FX8350 and FX8320 and I am happy with it. But I don't overclock either. I just got to overkill on the cooling bit.
