Hello folks

Will this gaming rig be able to run Battlefield 4 and other modern games at an acceptable frame rate? I have a budget at about $1300. Please leave any suggestions. :-D

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670k
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-U12P SE2 (I want to overclock)
GPU: ASUS GTX 770 2GB
Motherboard: ASUS Z87-K
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
PSU: XFX ProSeries XXX Edition 650W

My only complaint is that you are paying almost 80$ for a heatsink. You should take a look at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099

That is what is in my computer and i can say it fits barely into my Mid Case, but it does... I also have my CPU OC'd and it works beautifully.


Other than that i think you may want to consider looking for a 64-128gb SSD just to put Windows on with that budget, it will really help with performance as well as make you hate rotating HDDs (this is from experience.. ha).

128gb, great speed, nice life span. On sale for $114. (cannot beat that price)
