for the gpu you should go for R9 270. cpu wise avoid APU if possible. FX6xxx series cpu is better choice

R9 270 will be my choice also. As for CPU, the FX 6300 is almost the same price as the i3. FX's 6 cores might come in handy with future titles.

There is a trend in the PC community about power consumption that is so viral and pointless, that has become the new trend as it is now for hybrid cars and petrol cars. If you push the hybrid car to the limit of the petrol one, the fuel consumption will be the same. My point is people had become so obsessed about power or fuel consumption that is hard to believe what the marketing tricks will do to people. The AMD's FX 6300 has TDP of 95W, while the i3 has TDP of 54W. In laymen's terms, that means that if you use the FX 6300 for 4-5 hours a day, the difference in the electricity bill will be $15 more per year, or monthly $1.125 more. If 15$ more per year is justified buy Intel as great savings, then i don't know what more to say.

hmm so what do you mean? are you saying that fx 6300 and the i3 are not different at all base on power consumption? are you sure that the fx 6300 will not blow up my powerbill? because if not i will buy the fx

it will not. i still remember when people debating about using GTX480 will make your power bill skyrocket compared to HD5870. well some people in the forum did try make their own calculation and in the end even if both gpu run on full load on 24/7 basis the difference is only $15 for a year lol. honestly i don't know how accurate is that but for such regular processor such as FX6xxx you shouldn't be thinking too much about such a thing.
