OK guys i am posting this here cause I am desperate for help since i can't figure this one out.

My specs:

GPU: AMD HD Radeon 6850 MSI

CPU: AMD A8-5600K APU with Radeon HD 7560D

Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2 rev 3.0

So here is the thing.I want to pair up my main GPU with the one in the APU but i can't seem to do it.When I go to BIOS there is an option to edit GFX settings and the only ones in there are the main output setting(the options are "IGD video" presumably the integrated graphics and .."something..PCIE slot"(the discrete GPU)).I have selected the main GPU as the main output source like i read somewhere online. Then below there is an option for Integrated graphics, there i have selected the "Forced" option and gave it 1gb of memory. When i log onto windows and go in AMD Catalyst i don't have the dual graphics option under Performance tab. When i go to hardware info(in the catalyst) i have 2 adapters,1 is my main GPU and below its the integrated one but on this one it states that it is disabled. Then i checked into Device Manager and there under Display Adapters it states that both are enabled.

Things to mention: For my main display output i use HDMI.
Also,I think i have read somewhere online and i saw people that have paired this APU with much stronger GPU than mine(I'm not sure of this but I think i have). One guy said that basically u can pair any APU(the integrated graphics in it) with any GPU but I'm not sure what he meant by this or if its true.If by any means I am wrong and it turns out that i cant pair those two please let me know.

If you need any info on anything let me know and I'll see what I can do.Thanks in advance.

OK after reviewing some info again i think you ppl may be right. At least i got that sorted out.Just 1 more question : Which one of these configurations (4gb ram 1600mhz,CPU and GPU mentioned above) and(4gb ram, same CPU and 6670 GPU paired )is better performance vise?(specifically for Battlefield 4 on medum-high settings)

The key to dual-graphics is the "sync" because you are rendering alternate frames from each graphics engine -- i.e., you want the GPU and memory clocks at the closest speeds possible when compared to each other ..... that's why I suggested the HD 6570 with the APU 7560D.

My understanding is the 6670 would be the preferred card with an APU 7660D.

Either way I suspect the discreet HD6850 as a single discreet card is the best way forward (BUT ... I've never seen actual benchies)
