Bus speed diminishes after OC

I have a G1 Sniper M5 motherboard, which before I overclocked the cpu it had a bus speed of 100.02 MHz.
After ocing the cpu, i7 4770K, it's only 99.98 MHz.

Is that normal? Can I recover the 100 MHz bclk?

Which bus are you referring to?.. the Front Side, or North?

Either way even 100Mhz sounds low to me. Could you give the exact model number of the Mobo? (should be written on it) and also what you did to OC your CPU?

I think it's called BCLK, to OC I changed the turbo boost frequency to 42/41/41/40, w/o changing any voltage. mobo is http://www.gigabyte.eu/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4482#ov, I can't find any specification there, but as I said, before ot was 100.02 or perhaps 100.2 MHz, but in any case now it's just 99.98 MHz.

You don't need to touch BCLK, you have a "k" series processor and Z87 motherboard.

Intel processors have their base clock set to 100Mhz and you should leave it at that. To overclock with your processor and motherboard you simply need to increase the CPU ratio. At the moment, it will be set to 35 (35x100=3500 or 3.5Ghz) so all you need to do is access the BIOS and increase this number.

Thank you for your advice, but my main question is if that drop in BCLK is normal, or there is something wrong.
