I'm building a computer and I'm gonna buy most of my parts from my local pc store, and here are the prices. 4570: $229.99, 4670: $279.99. Is there a huge difference?
What if the price difference between the MOBO+4670K and a MOBO+4570 was £70, would it be better to get the 4570? Wouldn't the 4670K last longer since you have the ability to OC at a later date?

Not enough longer to justify the much higher cost. It's already a stretch to pay $20 more to OC on Intel CPUs under a budget. 70 pounds is way too big of a difference to justify overclocking.
