Hi!
So simple question,
I have an i5-4670k at stock clocks (3.4ghz, 3.8ghz turbo).
and I wanted to OC for better gaming performance!
I have a noctua cpu cooler that looks similar to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608040

I have a MSI 4GB 770 along with a MSI Z87 GD65 mobo.
What would be a safe, and easy overclock that I could pull off just by bumping up the multiplier a bit without doing much testing? Looking for a 5-10 minute job.

I've never had a chance to overclock the 4670k, but if it's anything like the 3570k then you should be able to reach somewhere in the 4.0-4.2GHz without even touching the voltage. Now keep in mind that every CPU is different when it comes to voltages but you should be able to reach at least 4.0GHz on stock voltage. With that cooler, your temperatures should be fine and I'd say go for it. But being said that, I recommend you run a program like Prime95 or some other stress tester for a minimum of 2 hours. I usually run my test for around 6 hours, but I would say no less than 2. Just remember the longer the better. You should see some FPS improvement in certain games and benchmarks, plus you'll feel good that you know your getting more performance. If your looking for an overclocking guide, Toms has some awesome guides that basically take you step-by-step. Happy overclocking!
