Hi, I have been looking around the internet for a little while now since I am looking for a new power supply. I have an OEM fsp psu, it has randomly shut down one or 2 times on me i believe now... All my other pc's parts were slowly upgraded to more high end ones and i don't want to kill them because of a shitty OEM psu. I don't think this current psu is a 'danger' because it still is a fortron, but i am looking for a higher end one such as Seasonic or BeQuiet!...
My specs at the moment:

    Asrock z77 Extreme 4
    I7 3770
    MS-Tech x4 crow²
    Samsung 120gb g40 pro
    1 TB WD Black + 1 Green
    NH-D14
    Asus GTX 660
    2x4 Gb Ram

Yes I know 700w might be overkill, but i know that a psu has good efficiency around 45% and I might want a psu that doesn't turn the fan on at 20-30% for some good silence.
I also finally want a 80 Plus gold (or maybe platinum) because i believe my psu has no 80 plus rating. (atleast there is no sticker on the unit) Also modularity would be nice :p .

Here is a list of power supplies which i have been thinking about to get...

    Seasonic x750 V2 €140
    BEQuiet Dark power pro 10 750W €160
    Cooler Master V700 €120
    Corsair RM 750W €105
    Corsair AX 760W €140
    Seasonic Platinum 750W €170

Ofcourse the best option would be the seasonic platinum... But i think it might be a bit too pricey. I was thinking the most about the seasonic x750... The AX 760 sound nice too, its about the same price as the seasonic and its platinum with 7 year warranty, but im not sure if the fan is that silent and corsair doesn't make their own power supplies... :L. The bequiet sounds nice too, it has a silentwings fan. It also has fan connectors to let fans control by the psu, but i believe this is more of a marketing trick to get money out of my pocket...
*Deep sigh* Ohh the choices :)
What do you guys think?

Look for a Seasonic or XFX 650W or 750W - cannot go wrong.

Hmm xfx is quite limited in my area...
I am leaving the cooler master, bequiet and seasonic platinum out of my list. When it comes down to the ax 760 with platinum and 7 year warranty, and the seasonic x with 5 year warranty for the same price... Which one would it be?

Both are high quality supplies , I like the SEASONIC X Series , both are made by SEASONIC.

Can't go wrong with those 2 choices.

I would go for the 7 year warranty on the AX760 if prices are similar.
