Hi guys I need help I recently built a budget gaming rig here are the specs:
AMD A8 3.9ghz 6600k APU with latest graphics.

MSI FM2-A55-E33 uATX Motherboard

16Gb DDR3 1600mhz Ram

Seagate 1TB 7200RPM sata Hard drive

Dual layer CD/DVD writer

Vantage Blue desktop pc gaming case with 3X120mm blue led fans (Mollex connection)

I think its a alpine 500watt psu.

Iam thinking of getting the MSI R9 270X 2Gb Gddr5 ram graphics card but I don't know wheather it is compatible with my mobo and APU.
I'm also thinking of getting a new psu I want it to be a 750watt modular or semi-modular psu with mollex cables as I want to keep the case. Please tell me if the GPU will work with mobo and what power supply I should get thanks.

Solution
The 270x is perfectly fine with your APU/motherboard, and will be a huge step up in graphics and gaming performance :)

About the new PSU, a 500w+ power supply would be perfectly fine, and they will all come with molex connectors. SeaSonic/XFX make great 500-600w power supplies for great prices, and are top quality. You definitely want a quality built power supply over a high wattage power supply.
