Will a 400W PSU reduces a radeon 7850 performance?

MY specs
AMD FX 4100 3.6GHZ(quad-core)
8GB RAM
GIGABYTE RADEON 7850 1GB
400W coolermaster elite power

I have tested some games like NFS rivals and assasins creed 4 and in nfs rivals it seems to lag on medium graphics and its very laggy in COD ghosts..i never got a system crash or freezing or anything.So is it because of my PSU?

It should be able to run that setup, you'll know if your PSU doesn't have enough power if the pc crashes but i dont think it will in any way the gpu would slow down if it doesn't get enough power. It would just crash.

You're getting lag because of the CPU. The PSU isn't very high quality, but your setup wouldn't push more than about 250-300w at peak load.

I would recommend getting a new PSU, not because of performance, but that's not a great quality PSU.

I've no idea about NFS Rivals, but in Assassin's Creed 4 and CoD ghosts, it's normal for a PC with those specs to fall into low framerates.

This unit is claimed to deliver 23 A on a combined 12 V rail so it should meet the minimum ampere requirement of the card. The power supply efficiency though drops to 70% under full load. I don't know about CoD ghosts but rivals is known for its frame rate issues and Assassins Creed 4 is CPU intensive.
