Which one to go for?? I've just built a pc and debating on which graphics card to go for. Can get them both for around £170 but don't know which one!
Is there an alternative??

Thanks in advance

If you're playing games such as BF4, which support Mantle, then the 270X is your best choice.
If you're playing games without Mantle, then the 760 would be a better choice.

The 760 is 10-15% faster so it would be my suggestion

I think that the 760 is a better buy because of the fact it has g sync and shadowplay. But the 270x does have mantle. but dx12 is going to be released soon and it will bring same power as mantle. http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/178904-directx-12-det.... Also it will be backward compatible with older gpus like the GTX 760.

mantel will only make a noticable difference with a low end cpu. if you can get them both for the same price, the gtx760 is a much better choice.

Yeah, go with the EVGA GTX760. Mantle will probably die with the release of dx12. The gtx760 won't benefit from dx12 because it is dx11.1. But the gtx760 will benefit from the new nvidia 337.50 beta driver, almost more so than a 270x will with Mantle.

all current video cards will be able to use dx12, not sure how one would think not.
