Good morning, I was wondering what RAM you knowledgeable people would choose for my gaming rig? I will be using Intel 4670K with Asus MAximus Hero IV. Currently I have my eye on Crucial Ballistix Tracer 8GB 2X4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600, but am thinking of switching to G.SKILL TridentX F3-2400C10D-8GTX 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-2400 CL10 for $15.00 more. Would it be worth it to switch to the G.Skill?

Thanks in advance!

you wont see much of a difference while playing games but if doing video editing and stuff you will. anyway ddr3 2400mhz cl10 >> ddr3 1600mhz cl9 for 15$ i would anyway. also your cpu wil gain more bandwidth with 2400mhz if overclocked!

Overall think you'll be happier with the 2400 Tri's, great sticks, on the gaming side can pick up a few FPS in most games (more in memory centric ones, but the DRAM will really shine with multi-tasking, large data sets and apps like for imaging, video, VMs, CAD, etc
