About 3 weeks ago I purchased some Logitech G35s after doing some research and believing these would be the best headsets for the money I was willing to spend that I could get.

I upgraded from a pair of planatronics that I had for almost 3 years that had cost me $99 when purchased.

My main issue with the G35s is simply the volume. At 100% they seem like they are running at 50% of what my old head phones put out volume wise and the quality even seems slightly lower. The comfort though is great but pointless if the sound is not there.

I will most likely be returning them to bestbuy and hope to find a better pair and this time wanted to ask for input from fellow people who know more than I do. I am looking to spend up to ~$130 and I would be using these headsets for gaming mainly and of course listening to music occasionally. I do also need/prefer a microphone built into the headsets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated since my most recent research led me to being unhappy with my purchase.

P.S. I did try installing all software and updating drivers and searching for fixes for the volume issue but apparently it seems to be a complaint many had and no real solutions.
