Bad CPU? Bad mobo?

I have a new PC Build with:
AMD A10-6790k APU
ASRock A55 FM2 mobo
Kingwin ABT-650MM
Patriot 4GB RAM
and a hard drive and disk drive I already had.

I got everything but the APU in a bundle (with A8-5600k) on Tigerdirect, and when it was all together, no post, no signal, nothing. I tried with the A10 APU and same problem. I thought it had to be a dead APU, so I returned the A10 and just got a new unit, still the same problem. I do have another mobo (Asus A55M FM2[+?]), but I want to know if there is another solution than switching mobos, like bad power supply, etc. Fans kick on and lights on the chassis kick on but no post and no signal to anything (including USB devices). Any solutions?

Well, changed to a new PSU, unfortunately, it doesn't work either. It doesn't say it supports A-series processors (only says it supports Pentium4 and Athlon), but I was hoping that didn't matter.

I can't even get to the bios. Not even the initial screen pops up. There's literally no signal from the processor to the mobo that I'm seeing. Not even my HDD is spinning. So, could it be a bad ground from the case?
