Please help I dropped my desktop and it won't turn on.

I have a LG desktop that was manufactured in June 2008. I decided that I should take it home from work today, so I did. When I got home I picked it up out of the vehicle and it slipped out of my hands and landed on the driveway. I went inside to see if it still worked after that but it won't turn on. I've tired unplugging the cords but nothing is working. I can't buy a new one either because I don't have the money.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Verify ALL the cables and parts are still connected. Don't just look - disconnect and reconnect.

Try booting from a Linux LiveCD. This may rule out the HDD as the culprit.

you also may have pulled the cpu out of the cpu slot i seen it happen. you may want with the power off and cpu unplugged lift up the cpu locking latch and push down lightly on the cpu cooler.

Open up the case and look inside. Make sure to discharge any static electricity from yourself by touching something grounded before touching any interior components. Check to see if the cables running from the power supply to the motherboard are connected properly. If they are, when you power on again see if any lights or fans turn on.
