System help, maybe MOBO or GPU issue.

I was playing Minecraft of all games on my AMD build last year and the GPU stopped working. I proceeded to test and it continued to work on integrated graphics. A week later the entire system just stopped. The integrated graphics no longer worked and the OS corrupted (I then went and bought a new system because I was planning on upgrading anyway). I looked at it again today and did some tests. The power seems to be distributing unevenly and there seems to be no response from the Motherboard or GPU regarding graphics. I am wondering whether I am going to need a new MOBO and/or GPU and even a new CPU/HDD/PSU? The build is as follows:

CPU: AMD FX-4100 3.4GHZ
GPU: HIS 5770 1GB
MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
MEMORY: 8GB
PSU: 700WATT (Corsair)

I know there isn't a lot of information but that is all I could gather. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!

Solution
If it's a CX series power supply, my bet is on a failed power supply. You would have gotten some time out of the integrated graphics because that uses less power. Have you tried hooking up your current power supply up to that one to see if it works?
