Hello, thanks for taking a look at my thread!

Currently I am using TurtleBeach x12 as my gaming headset. They have been good to me for simple Skype chats while playing Minecraft. Now that I am playing more games like Battlefield and Titanfall, I am looking to upgrade my audio experience. I have looked into many headsets the past few days and have tried to come to a decision, but it is just so difficult. I am now looking of the opinions of the Toms Hardware community!

I have looked into the Siberia v2 headset and it looks pretty good. I have read that it is quite comfortable and has good sound quality. I have also read that the Corsair vengeance 1300 and 2000 are quite good as well. And then there is the option of the headphone/microphone combination. I have looked at getting the Audio Technica ATM-H50 with a Zamac clip-on mic.

I would like to know what you guys think of these headsets. Are there other headsets that you would recommend to me? I do not have a sound card to my knowledge, it is all on board. My budget is no more than $150. I hope you guys have any suggestions on what I should get, and/or opinions on the few headsets I have already looked at. Thank you!

Right now I am using the Earforce PX3's. They hurt my ears after long gaming sessions (I wear glasses :p), but the sound quality is pretty good. They are also programmable, and they go for $100 new on the turtlebeach website, but I got mine for around $40 on eBay.

I've heard that the Siberia V2 headset is really comfortable and lightweight, but I haven't really heard anything about sound quality. It's got sound and mic control on the wire, which probably means it doesn't have to many features, but simple is good.
The 1300's seem to be pretty comfortable. The ear cups are large and will snugly fit around your ear, and the memory foam in them seems to be a pretty nice feature. Also, the headband is padded providing extra comfort on the top of your skull. The sound quality seems pretty good. It runs on a 50mm driver so it will definitely bring you a little bit more in terms of quality. It does seem a little outdated, though. It also features a noise-canceling mic that will help. This one seems like a good budget headset.
I haven't heard anything about the 2000's, so I can't help you there :p
Hope this helps! :3
