I'm wanting to upgrade my Powercolor AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB, I'm not wanting to spend over £200/$330.

I've been looking at the R9 270X 2GB and GTX 760 2GB but I'm not sure which one would be the better option or if either of them are.

It'd be nice If It worked with my Asus P8Z68-V LX and 500W Xigmatek but I don't mind changing the PSU.

I mostly play Guild Wars 2 and games like Sims 3 (soon to be sims 4), Simcity, Skyrim.

I currently play at 1360 x 768 but I'm wanting to change to 1920x1080.

But still, you will need better PSU for the R9 280 than your current one.
