I'm looking to replace my EVGA 570 with one of these cards since I think my card is dying (it's producing red spots and random lines.)

And although I've been set on getting the 770 4 GB FTW edition, I see the 780 is only 60 dollars more. Looking at the standard 770 vs 780 benchmarks, it appears to only be 10 fps better. But the FTW edition is supposed to be a bit better than the standard super clocked one.

I'm only using one 1080p monitor currently. And I'm not exactly wealthy, so 60 dollars could definitely be used elsewhere, but if it's a HUGE upgrade then I'll invest it into the card. I'll be playing Watch Dogs, Elder Scrolls Online, and probably Titanfall. And I also do a lot of video editing in Premiere Pro, but both cards will do fine.

Solution
Get the 780 without question. Its a neutered Titan, and the 770 is an overclocked 680 essentially.

The extra 1GB of VRAM wont do a thing for you at 1920x1080...

Great choice friend. The 780 is really fantastic. Are you planning on an EVGA card for the 780? Check out the Superclocked ACX cooler edition...Titan level performance at around 500.00 USD.
