Need to upgrade from Intel HD Graphics card - but to what?

Hey all,

So I currently have a HP Pavilion P6 Desktop. Intel iCore i3 2120 CPU. Intel HD Graphics 1000.

I'm looking to update my graphics card as I want to start playing some of the newer games on my PC.

What would you guys recommend? I have no idea. If you need any more specific info just ask.

Well, you could either get the Radeon R7 260x (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125486), or you could get the GTX 750 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487025).

I would go with the GTX 750 because it doesn't need a cable to run from, and because it's slightly faster than it's AMD counterpart.
