why it is required to use Cross-Cable to connect two switches ?
but if you connect PC or router to a switch you use straight cable ?

It really isn't anymore. This is mostly for older equipment that only runs at 100m and does not have mdi/mdix feature that automatically solves this.

It is all based on the need of the equipment to transmit on one pair and receive on the other and equipment used to be classified as DTE or DCE when it selected which pair it uses for what.

It is very rare to find equipment that does not support mdi/mdix on 100m and gig uses a different system where both side transmit and receive on all 4 pair at the same time so this concept doesn't even matter.
