AMD 7870 getting extremely low frames on battlefield

We need information to help.

Full system specs? Including PSU, motherboard, RAM, CPU. Everything for that matter.
Monitor and gaming resolution?
Battlefield 1, 2, 3 or 4?
How low is "extremely low"? Post numbers.
WHEN is it at these "low" numbers?

You need to monitor to see if the CPU does not throttle. For example when your FPS drops, check whether your CPU is still running at 4GHz and not a lower speed.

By the way, you didn't mention monitor resolution? Or what PSU model you have? 600W PSU does not mean anything.

DO NOT suggest Kombuster. Its based on Furmark, which literally killed many graphics cards a few years ago.

Stick to Unique Heaven Bench, 3d Mark or similar.

Im sorry if im being too ignorant, yes this is during when i play any game so yeah the frame drops and it is my cpu

What other info do you need? once again i apologize

These days AMD and Nvidia both have driver built in throttling when Furmark or Kombuster. So it might be safe NOW, but its pointless too. :)

Wait what? Open your chassis and check where the noise is coming from.

I basically use it on new builds to make sure the cpu is pushing the gpu to 99% use it a lot to check crossfire/sli
