Black=performance
Blue=mainstream
Green=energy saving slower drive
Red=NAS drive
Purple=Surveillance Drive.

Black or blue would be good to go, Green for mass storage.

Greens are for storing files like photos etc.

Blues are a good all around HDD (for files and games)

Blacks are optimal for gaming and they offer reliability by lasting about 5 years.

get blue, a good middle-of-the-road hdd. black is faster, but they say its hot and can be noisy.

i use SSD, then blue.
