Can i use a pc chassis fan into xbox 360..?

I just want my xbox to look cool so i've decided to buy a fan with lights....Is it fine to do so, is there a chance that something gets damage after..AND IM SORRY about the grammar..english is not my native language.

It varies. Non speed controlled fans run directly off the PSU use a four-pin peripheral connecter, with two pins used. Most fans use a three-pin 0.1" spaced connector on the motherboard, which allows for speed sensing and some control. CPU fans and some others use a four-pin surface 0.1" spaced connector, and have good speed control and sensing.

Don't know what the XBOX uses.

well I have my xbox 360 fan out now and it has 3 pin slots, but 4 wires, so I am not sure...
it also says DC12V and 0.4A
it plugs into a 3 pin connector
I would add pictures, but I am not sure if tomshardware allows this, and I do not have access to a camera right now
