So I just order all my new part from newegg for the next build I'm doing. But with the cost if SSD's I don't feel like spending all that money for less space. ( I use ALOT of space lol)

Question is. how is the seagate hybrid drive for gaming and general use?

Solution
A hybrid drive is definitely a worthwhile step up from a regular hard drive - though it obviously isn't as quick as a good SSD, it will make day to day use of your PC - the startup, loading programs, internet use, etc - much quicker

There will always be detractors from a new technology, but I think its fair to say, from having read reviews, and from having built a PC using one, that the Seagate Hybrid drive is a well developed technology that works as intended... ie the cache SSD component works well to dramaticaly speed up a majority of day-to-day tasks

Of course there will always be something better in the future... but this drive is imho a safe bet, worth the money, and a great (relatively) low-cost alternative to an SSD
