i3 cpu for 720p gaming?

I have really low budget
I've selected
i3 or fx 6300
I will be playing all latest games at 720p at med/high settings

Both i3 3220 and fx 6300 are similar in price what should I buy??
I will use this PC for 10-12 hrs a day (2-3 hrs gaming and rest will be movies and web surfing)
Will amd's power consumption be an issue ?? Because its TDP is just !!

My specs are
Gigabyte windforce GTX 750ti 2gb
8gb ddr3 ram
Any 70-80 $ mobo
Corsair vs 450 watts

I'd get the 6300.
450 watts will be plenty for your system.

Both will do a good job, but I'd go for the FX-6300. It will also compliment your GPU better than the dual-core i3.

The PSU will be absolutely fine.

Depends on the games you are looking to play. BF4 and Crysis 3, I would have to say FX 6300. If your intentions are Skyrim, MMO's, or any game made by Blizzard, stick with the i3, but go with an i3 4130. At least with the Haswell i3, you have an upgrade path to better processors.

There are some games that will run better with the i3. However, you only get 2 Hyperthreaded cores. The FX-6300 you get 6 cores. For over all performance I'd go with the FX-6300. It will handle multithreaded games and apps much better.

My favourite games are crysis ,bf series ,dead space series, metal gear revengeance,DMC,Call of duty series ,sniper elite and mainly NFS games etc
Can they all be played @720p using a fx 6300
And I won't over clock at all so can fx6300 be used for gaming on stock cooler
Also
Do FX series requires 1600 mhz or up ram if I have a D-GPU will they gain more performance on 1600mhz than 1333mhz if I use an external GPU

FX doesn't require DDR3 1600, but it is recommended. The performance difference would not be noticeable. Only APU's need faster ram for their integrated graphics. I would recommend getting an aftermarket cooler, as the stock one sucks. A Coolermaster Hyper TX3 is sufficient. I would recommend at least bumping the multiplier to at least 19.5 for FX 6350 speeds. 20 would give you 4.0ghz.

But overclocking will stress the Powersupply
Also
That makes price up to an i5 3350p here
And fx for rs7000 + aftermarket cooler for rs2500 =i5 3350p for rs9500 in I don't think that's better than getting i5 instead

If you have a quality PSU, bumping it up that little bit won't hurt. It wouldn't stress the PSU that much. Even @ 4.0ghz it would use less power than an FX 8350. I do agree that an i5 would be a better choice.
