Overclocking Intel E8400 with msi g41 p33 combo

Hi
I need some help in over clocking my cpu
can anyone please suggest me some thing i tryed few time but even a little change in bios setting my pc wont just wont start

i would like to over clock on stock cooler about 3-4 GHz :ange:

It's not a cpu that accepts an overclock readily. your expectations are much to high. you do have to up the core voltage if you are increasing the clock speeds for it to be stable

Can you tell me how much voltage should i keep it on :)

Gotta look up a guide, as i am not experienced with overclocking locked processors (generally you can get no more than 5% out of them, and it becomes dangerous to try...you wont get any worthy performance increase from overclocking that cpu, so my suggestion is to not try

what makes a cpu overclock ready is the manufacturer allowing the multiplier and bus speed to be fully unlocked.

When I google it I find many pages saying it's great for overclocking. You just raise the FSB, and voltages as needed.
