I would like to know what is better to render in 3dsmax? a single gtx 780ti or a 2 gtx 780ti in SLI? i know that in SLI have a performance in display but in the render final? example a single frame render with 1 gtx 780 delay 5 min to render, with 2 gtx in SLI how many time to render??? i will use a processor i7 3920k with 32giga memory, is valid 2 boards in sli in the render?

With how much you're going to spend, I would look at one of the lower level quadros. GTX is a gaming gpu, and isnt the best for animating. IF you're goal is to help animate, then get a quadro, because they're the most efficient at rendering with 3d programs.

I know that a quadro is indicated to 3d programs but, the cuda cores sometimes is lower that GTX, other problem is some times i need use After Effects, and i don´t know if the performance of quadro is the same in after effects!!!

what is the better??? i make a test in 2 computers diferent, the first computer is a i7 4770k with 16giga ram 1866 and a video board gtx 650 ti, the second computer a i7 3820 with 32 giga ram and a video board gtx 690 ti i made a render test with the same scene, and the i7 4770k rendered in 8 minutes and some seconds, the i7 3820 rendered in 10 minutes and some seconds!!! What really worth? an extreme processor or a video card?
