Ok so I just built a new rig and installed an ssd. It works terrific but I am having an issue with this hdd. First off I am not sure how to be using this thing. Obviously my ssd is my primary but I want to know what I can and cannot do with the hdd and what I should and should not use it for.
Also I have an issue with the hdd. I tried installing Itunes to the HDD last night. WHen I ran the installer it gave me a chance to select where I wanted to install it too. So I changed it to the D drive. IT got halfway thru installation and froze. I had to use task manager to exit the intsallation and reboot.. Well this caused a poop storm. WHen I booted back up somehow my boot order got changed to the hdd being the boot drive. So I went to bios and changed the bios back to the correct drive. Also now that I got it to boot into windows I am trying to get rid of the files the itunes installer had sent to the drive. But when i highlight the files and delete I freeze again. Another thing I noticed it that a couiple of the files from itunes went to the c drive? Also I have tried partitioning the d drive but it gives me an error box saying this drive could not be formatted.
So my question is what am I doing wrong here?
