i can't click anything on BF4.

So i can open origin, i can join any server, the game launches but i can't click any thing... my punkbuster is up-to-date, my video card's driver is up-to-date, my OS (win 8.1) is up-to-date, everything else is up-to-date. This never happened in Win 7 (Home Premium), this happens when i upgraded to Win 8.1. i'm not the only one with this problem, there are lots of people writing about this in the BF4 forum, but no ones seems to have the solution.

what's the problem here? the game? the hardware that i'm using? or is it just a bug?

i know my computer is more than good enough to run this game....

i'm using chrome, should i switch to mozila too? when i was using win 7 i was using chrome and everything works just fine, so the problem is the browser?

i switched to mozilla and everything works, for a few hours, when i leave from a server and jump to another one it happened again -_- what else did you do to fix this? is the game working flawlessly for you now?
please help me, i don't want to pay £49.99 for this just to have it not running.
