Can't OC my 780 Ti

Hello.

I bought my 780 Ti Windforce OC in december. It performs awesome, runs cool and all that stuf. Recently, I tried to overclock it, just to know how many fps I could gain, to get better results on a benchmark and those things. And the problem comes when I apply 100 MHz OC to the card (I use EVGA Precision X), and when I run a game, it crashes in like 10 seconds in. It's not a temperature problem, it stays under 60º C all the time. I thought that I should apply a little overvoltage to it to make the OC stable, but not even +75 mV and +90 MHz is stable, it crashes miserably.

I don't know if my card is broken, if I'm doing something wrong or what is happening. It's no big deal, the card performs good, but it bothers me that I bought a good cooled card and I can't get even 100 MHz overclock.

Thanks, and sorry for my english.

Not all cards can overclock. There's a reason its called the "silicon lottery". You just got unlucky and got a card that can't pass its factory clock and be stable. Also, if you RMA the card and there's nothing wrong with it (which nothing is wrong with it, overclocking issues are not covered) you're probably going to have to pay a restocking fee.

So... basically I have to deal with it, right?

Well, thanks. At least I know there's nothing wrong with my card, I got unlucky but looking at how my previous computers were all shit, it's the best of the "bad" things that could happen.

Thanks.
