Why can't my newly formatted laptop can't run minecraft. It is working smoothly before i formatted my laptop please help. it runs minecraft , i could even actually hear the background music but it won't display anything. please help

The first thought that came to mind was you have switchable graphics, but didn't install the driver for the gpu and are running off the igpu. We definitely need more detai.

What do you mean when you say that you "formatted" your laptop? Did you format the "C" drive then re-install Windows, or recover/reset Windows to its factory condition? What version of Windows are you running? Why did you format your laptop in the first place?
