I have been trying to port forward a Minecraft server I am running for months, but to no avail. The issue is that I am hosting behind two routers.

My setup is as follows:

Internet > BT Home Hub 3 (R1) > Netgear DG834G (R2) > Computer running server.

BT router has an IP of [removed]
Netgeat router has an IP of [removed]

The Netgear IP is static, I don't know about the BT router.

I have tried forwarding the R2 ports from R1, then forwarding the Minecraft ports to my computer, but nothing seems to work.

I have also tried several guides about port forwarding through two routers.

Any help? I have run out of ideas!

Personal IP addresses removed. We cannot do anything with these and by posting your personal IP addresses on a public forum makes your network vulnerable to hackers, scammers and the worst that the internet has to offer. - G

I don't think so.

How would I go about doing this? Would I need to set the IP as static from both routers or is it done via the OS?

Thanks

Edit:

I tried setting an IPV4 static IP, but I can't connect to the internet as soon as I have applied the settings...

Ok, so I managed to get the computer working with a static IP, though the port (25565) is still closed when I check with http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/.

Does this mean that not even the first router is open, as the tool is checking my BT router's external address?

Thanks
