if you are getting a k processor, then get a z87 motherboard instead of the b85

otherwise the rest is pretty good and dont forget that you need to buy an operating system

Looks alrighty. My changes:
CPU:
OR i5 4670k and a z87 motherboard - z87 is for OC, the B85 is not good for OC.
OR i5 4430 + MSI B85-G41. The 4430 is a quite a bit cheaper but can't be OC'ed / ideal for a non OC motherboard.

The ram: G.skill sniper series 1866 Mhz. (corsair is good as well though).

The GPU: Asus is alright, but gigabyte is cheaper AND has better cooling/ can be OC'ed higher (asus is just more known among people).

PSU: 750w is wayyyy to big if you are not planning on SLI later. The minimum recommended wattage for a 760 is 500w. A 500w PSU will be more than fine if. To be safe, take a 550w one. Reliable brands: Corsair/XFX/Seasonic.

Other than that, you might want to add a SSD later on. Speeds up the booting process a LOT (I have one and I'm amazed) - the samsung 840 line is relatively cheap but still top of the line.

Good luck!

I know many people are recommending higher speed ram, but the truth is, anything over 1333 mhz gives you absolutely no boost in gaming, and 1600mhz is slightly more affordable while still being high performance

Wasn't recommending it because it is higher ;) . The 1866Mhz is actually cheaper than the 1600Mhz version where I live. Why not take the free upgrade? :p  They are about the same price as the vengeance, probably a bit cheaper but equal/ better qua performance. There probably won't be much of a noticable difference... why not save yourself a couple bucks for more performance? =)
