I can not get my apu to crossfire with the 6670 ... and I followed ALL the steps required but nothing works:

1. power the PC without a 2ry GPU installed
2. BIOS: Force onboard gpu + UMA Buffer 2GB
3. Start Windows (with only basic display drivers)
4. Install latest display drivers v13.12 64bit
5. Shutdown
6. Install 2ry GPU (HD6670)
7. Start Windows
8. both GPUs detected and found in Device Manager
... But the Crossfire or the Dual Graphics option is not available in the CCC

What did I miss or is there something I am doing wrong? Help anyone? I am seriously frustrated

Specs:
MB: Asus F2 A85-M LE
CPU: AMD A10 5800K (BE)
GPU: Sapphire HD6670
OS: Win7 64bit

Notes:
- Clean windows install (no software) + latest BIOS, Drivers & Updates
- The MB got two 16xPCIe slots, the 6670 installed in the 1st slot

I had that same combo and had no issues. have you tried re-installing CCC after the HD 6670 was installed? Sometimes the driver needs to see the card during its installation. Also, keep the monitor plugged into the card rather than the MB.

Yes, the card should be in the x16 slot, not the x4 slot.

I tried it as you said, re-installed the same drivers again (no uninstall was made) while the HDMI cable connected to the monitor ... nothing ... so I restarted ... nothing again, still no CrossFire option in CCC

I tried to connect both GPUs to two different monitors but nothing worked either, the CCC just used both as a dual monitor config, but no Crossfire or Dual Graphics option
Tried also to solo-plug each GPU to a monitor while the PC was running, nothing happened ... the driver just recognized the active GPU and used it as the 1ry display

This is really frustrating :/

Since you already own that mobo, can you plz confirm this BIOS configuration?

Advanced ==> NB Configuration:
IGFX Multi-Monitor: Enabled
Primary Video Device: IGFX Video
Integrated Graphics: Force
UMA Frame Buffer Size: 2G

Thanx for the reply

In BIOS, try making the Primary Video Device the slot the card is in. Btw, I said I HAD that combo. I no longer do.
Here's the procedure I followed with my system when I had it: http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/support/faq_content.ph...
