Windows failed to start

Just making sure there is nothing wrong on the safe side. When I booted up my computer it stalls for a while unlike usual. Then i realise the reason why is because I left my DVD in the disc drive. I eject the disc and power off my computer when it says "Starting Windows"
When I power it back on, the dreaded Windows Error Recovery message pops up. I select start windows normally. Everything is fine. Is this because I turned off the PC when windows was starting?
Many Thanks,
AK Nerd

P.S
Here are the specs of my computer
MSI 760GM Socket AM3+ Motherboard
AMD Sempron 145 2.80GHZ
2GB RAM
120GB SSD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit preinstalled
ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics
Samsung Super-Write master
I built this rig myself so It isn't from a manufacturer

First, you are turning your pc off when Windows is loading, so the Windows Error Recovery will show up.

Second, you probably have the DVD drive set to the primary drive in the bios setting. Go to Bios setting and set your hard drive as your primary drive.
