Unidentified network, can't connect to the internet

So I was working only laptop one day and out of nowhere I had not internet connection, so I tried many different threads looking for answers and still have yet to find one. I have a sony vaio and a belkin router. When I try and connect to my wifi it's say at first there are multiple networks and then changes over to an unidentified network and that is where I am stuck. Any help would be great fully appreciated

Remove you connection from the list (should be a forget network option). Reboot the router and try to connect to it again. You

Well I tried that out, and still nothing. I honestly have no idea what to do from this point, because it seems as if I've done every thing to try and solve this problem

Go to your router config and make sure you are trying to connect to the proper name. Does your WiFi even show up in the list?

Yes my wifi shows up on the list and I am connecting to the proper name. Just last night I tried changing the name of my wifi to see of that may help my solution but it did not. I also tried to connect the Ethernet cable to it and that didn't even work, still said I had multiple networks (unidentified). I have litterly tried everything I possibly can and still nothing. I have never had a problem like this
