Hi Tom's Hardware

I am soon going to be getting a GTX780 to upgrade my rig with, but am not sure which one to purchase. I am stuck between the MSI Lightning, the ASUS DirectCU2 and the EVGA Classified. I play predominantly Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4 and Skyrim (heavily modded) at 1920x1020 at 120Hz. So which should I buy?

My current rig is as follows:
i7 3770K 3.5GHz
MSI Lightning 7970 3GB
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
Asrock Extreme4 Z77
OCZ 750W PSU
CM HAF 922
Windows 8.1
BENQ XL2410T 120Hz

Thanks in advance

The EVGA GTX 780 Classified (Which I also have). is the best 780 you can get. I max out all games (Minus Crysis3) and stay well above 60FPS. I also run 3 1080 monitors off of it for working. It handles these loads well.

I am definitely drawn to the Classified on the recommendation of a friend.

The lightning is a heavily OC'd card. The classifieds come with dual Bios which one bios has a the default settings and clock rates while the second unlocks the card to let you push it to it's extreme (only recommended if you know what you are doing) but the 780 classified will be easily overclockable. I've not yet had any problems overclocking my card.

I think the Classified is the way to go... Cheaper, cherry-picked GPU, performs better in benchmarks and of course the amazing EVGA customer support. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, but I appreciate that you've taken the time to answer and send benchmarks etc.
