Disregarding price, which board would you go with on a new (gaming) build, and why?

I'm leaning towards ASUS because of their "4way Optimization" program for easy OC'ing, does GB offer a similar program?

I bought the Z87 Pro (V Edition) as I didn't need the wireless capabilities of the regular Pro version. I got the board at great price as an Open Box item from Newegg. See my post here with pictures, if interested. http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=742892

Honestly, I thought the board was ugly after looking at pictures of it online, but after receiving mine and seeing it in person, I must say, the board really looks nice. Even though I have yet to use most of the features of the board, I am happy with my purchase. I got a great deal on what is considered a fantastic board. I'm happy.

Hmmm, I'm doing all the research now for a build I plan on buying in about 1.5 months.

So I need to wait anyways. But will the Z97 mobo's be that much better then the Z87?
Or when the Z97 comes out should I still get the Z87, which I'm assuming will take a price cut.

Based on my limited research of Z97 the only real change for me is the 10-16gb SATA support vs current 6gb. Which in turn would require 10gb+ SSD another additional cost increase.
If there's more substantial changes please chime in.

As of right now for a gaming pc build I dont see 6gb vs 10-16gb transfer rates vastly increasing gaming performance.
Again please chime in if you think otherwise.
