PC Doctor testing shows AMD FPU, MMX and SSE have internal errors. Can this be fixed?
I'm not familiar with "PC Doctor," but those errors sound like nonsense. The FPU is the Floating Point Unit, while MMX and SSE are common and basic extensions to the x86 instruction set. If any of these had "internal errors," the computer likely would not even be running.
And if these are real errors, which I doubt they are, no, they cannot be fixed. These are features of every AMD core for a really long time now, and are crucial to much of normal CPU operation. I also don't see any reason why they would fail.
